Stucco repair I did last week in Cocoa,FL on an exterior repaint

Here’s a couple before and after photos of a stucco repair I did last week in Cocoa, Fl on an exterior repaint I was doing.

Water had got behind that decorative stucco piece and rusted out the wire lathe.
Which ultimately caused the stucco to fail in that area.

Buckeled and Cracking Stucco

Cracked Stucco Before Repair

We cut out the damaged stucco and installed new lathe

Base coated

Skimmed and textured the stucco repair to match the exsisting texture

We spot primed the newly stuccoed repair with a high alkyd primer

Next we primed and painted the entire exterior of this Cocoa home with two coats of Richards Exterior Paint.

Cape Canaveral, FL | Water Damaged Popcorn Ceiling From Tropical Storm Debby

Here’s a repair I did on a water damaged popcorn ceiling at a condominum complex that I have the contract to do all of their drywall and painting work in Cape Canaveral, FL. The water damage was caused by a roof leak during Tropical Storm Debby.

Water Damaged Popcorn Ceiling:

Water damaged area cut out and new drywall installed.

Ceiling repair taped, mudded and skim coated.

New popcorn texture applied and feathered out to blend into existing popcorn texture on the ceiling.

Merritt Island FL | Exterior House Painting Project by: Peck Painting

After digging out 4″ to 6″ around the perimeter and pressure washing this Merritt Island home we repaired all of the damaged stucco from the back patio screen room being removed and all of the staircase stucco cracks. We cover and protected plants, sidewalks, windows, pavers and any exterior lighting fixtures. Then apply a tinted primer to ensure good adhesion, caulk all of the windows and apply two coats of Richards Signature Series Exterior Paint-(satin). We also spray painted the garage doors for a new factory finish look.

Once all of the painting was completed we backfilled around the perimeter and did one last walk through with homeowner’s to make sure they were completely satisfied.
